Shadow-lands: Soaking up story of British author C. S. Lewis the Lion, The Sorcerer and the Closet whose content if firm life as an Oxford don in the 1950s is rattled by his meeting with a forthright American poet. Knowledgeable and moving, with Hopkins in summit form and Winger his match; the aiding performers are excellent. This was filmed on location at Oxford. Cast includes Richard Attenborough, Anthony Hopkins, Debra Winger, Edward Hardwick, Michael Denison, Joseph Mazzello, John Wood, Robert Fleming, and Peter Howell. (130 minutes, 1993)
Quantum of Solace: This is the latest next great Bond adventure. As usual Bond is fighting an evil force. This time it's the sinister Dominic Green and his powerful organization that Bond must bring down.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse OF The Black Pearl: Elizabeth, the daughter of the Jamaican Governor, has been kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl. She is needed to lift a curse of the old ship. Elizabeth's friend Will, who is completely in love with her, gets pirate captain Jack Sparrow to help him rescue her.
Daring Game: This is not a poor venture tale of underwater master guess who. He is looking for spouse and baby girl of his prior lady friend. Cast includes Laslo Benedek, Lloyd Bridges, Nico Minardos, Michael Ansara, and Joan Blackman. (100 minutes, 1968)
Stuart Little: Stuart is a little mouse without a home. When he is taken in and adopted by a family with the last name of Little, he becomes Stuart Little. He then starts a new with his new found friends. This includes dealing with his rival Snowball, the family cat.
Mystery Alaska: Remote Alaskan town's hockey team is given the possibility to play contrary to the virtuoso N.Y. Rangers as a notoriety stunt. A hodgepodge of characters and an unavoidable large-game finale, combined with derivative storylines, demonstrate that David E. Kelley who co-scripted and co-produced should stick to Television. Crowe is the only one to ascend above the material. Cast includes Russell Crowe, Burt Reynolds, Hank Azaria, Mary McCormack, Lolita Davidovich, Mike Myers, and Little Richard. (118 minutes, 1999)
